About the Internship :

I am Advit Kalgutkar an Architect-in-Training with a strong interest in how spaces influence human experience. During my internship at RJB-CPL, a practice with over four decades of architectural experience and a contemporary, performance-driven approach, I had the opportunity to apply my academic learning in a professional environment. The firm’s interdisciplinary work across architecture, interiors, urban design, master planning, infrastructure, and exhibition & graphics offered valuable exposure to a broad design process shaped by functionality, precision, and collaborative use of technology. 

Working alongside a highly knowledgeable and experienced team was a key part of this learning. The collaborative environment, guided by skilled professionals, encouraged clarity in design thinking, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to execution. The team’s openness to discussion and mentorship significantly contributed to my understanding of real-world architectural practice. 

This portfolio compiles the work completed during my internship and reflects my growth, learning, and approach to architecture as a discipline that creates meaningful and responsible environments.
